Have you ever thought about attending business school or wished you had a basic understanding of how to run a business? You can now take Wharton’s popular Foundation Series courses as part of the brand new Business Foundations Specialization, starting April 6th.
The Specialization includes courses in Accounting, Finance, Marketing and Operations Management taught by faculty from one of the top business schools in the world. After successfully completing these courses and earning Verified Certificates for each, you have the opportunity to participate in a final Capstone Project that puts your knowledge to the test, based on real challenges businesses face.
India’s largest e-commerce site Snapdeal and music discovery app Shazam have agreed to provide case studies for the first round of Capstone Projects. Top performers will get direct feedback from the leadership teams at the company for which they created their project.
What’s more: Wharton will invite the top 50 performers each year to apply to one of the School’s graduate business programs, and waive the application fee. It will also offer up to five $20,000 scholarships to students admitted to its MBA program who have excelled in completion of the Specialization in the previous twelve months.
“The Business Foundations Specialization continues our outreach to students around the world, especially those who want to sample the power of Wharton knowledge. We are especially excited about the unique industry partnerships we can offer through the Capstone Project, allowing participants a glimpse into the real challenges businesses face.” – Geoff Garrett, Dean of the Wharton School
